Campaign Story

We are Chris and Michelle— an active duty Air Force family stationed. For the past seven years, we have been walking one of the hardest roads imaginable: infertility and pregnancy loss.

We’ve experienced 12 miscarriages, endured three egg retrievals, a failed embryo transfer, and countless medicated cycles — all while navigating the unique challenges of military life and limited healthcare access. Most recently, we learned that despite qualifying for military IVF assistance through the TRICARE Supplemental Health Care Program, we were never informed of this benefit until after exhausting our resources.

Now, we face the reality that our best path forward is using donor eggs with a gestational carrier — an option not covered by insurance or the military healthcare system. We are fundraising to help build the family we’ve fought so hard for — a family that honors our story of resilience, loss, and love. We have a surrogate, we have some eggs, but we need your help to complete Operation Baby!
